Don’t let the snow in this photo fool you. There is nothing cold about Great Wolf Lodge in Washington.
As you know our family recently attended the Eco Mom Summit at Great Wolf Lodge. And I have already highlighted all of the wonderful ways they are making their resorts more earth friendly. That is only one of the many reasons to LOVE Great Wolf Lodge. Some of the things my family and I enjoyed the small details that were not overlooked in creating this great resort.
Doesn’t that fridge just scream “Put Diet Coke In Me”?
When traveling as a family we try to save money when and where we can. Having a fridge and microwave helps us do that. Keeping our own snacks, milk, and drinks on hand equals more cash in hand to enjoy all the activities we want to do.
I want to take a nap just look at it.
Comfortable beds and bedding are a must at any hotel and resort. Thankfully Great Wolf Lodge didn’t fall short in this arena. The beds were just the right amount of soft/firm. And I don’t know what the exact thread count was on the sheets but my skin tells me it was from the “not too shabby” count.
This may seem amusing to most but we really like having the bent shower rod when it is a shower/tub combination. It makes the shower seem so much bigger. And we have one at home so it is just another touch that usually notice when staying at a hotel.
Of course when staying at a resort like Great Wolf lodge you don’t hang out in our room the entire vacation. You get out and enjoy all of the amenities on site.
The waterpark was our favorite part of the resort by far. A wave pool, hot tubs, and deathy defying (according to me… I am a little wimpy) water slides were just a few of the things we used while spending nearly 2 whole days in this climate controlled indoor water wonderland.
If water just isn’t your cup of tea (can you make tea without water?) then Great Wolf Lodge has you covered. With multiple show times daily you won’t want to miss the show in clock tower plaza.
Xander spent hours playing MagiQuestthroughout the resort. I am still not quite how to describe it besides fun. Well maybe it is a little scavenger hunt-like. It was a great way for our family to explore Great Wolf Lodge while solving fun clues.
Don’t worry if you don’t enjoy water parks or magical quests. Great Wolf Lodge has something for everyone. Head to their spa for a relaxing day of pampering. A quick pedicure, a long relaxing massage, or treat yourself to a full day of pampering.
Needless to say we enjoyed our time at Great Wolf Lodge in Washington immensely. Will we go back? YES! In fact, who is ready to plan a trip right now?
