The T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Blaze Giveaway is at the bottom of this post.
Summer has blazed (see what I did there? I’m so punny) past us at lightening speeds. I cannot believe it is almost time for me to send the kids back to school next week (I am weird… I like the kids being home. Call me crazy.) That also means it’s time for me to make some adjustments in the good old T-Mobile plan I have for the kids.
During the summer months I enjoyed using FamilyWhere on my kids phones. It allowed me to locate them using their phones. It also let me do a little “Mommy Intel”. Having teenagers is a fun game of “where are they really” at times. This summer I thankfully discovered that my kids were always exactly where they said they were. There are so many other reasons to ground kids… Locating doesn’t have to be one of them thanks to FamilyWhere.
Josh became a legal driver in May. Which has been a wonderful thing. But texting and talking on the phone while driving has always been a HUGE worry for me. He is constantly correcting me about my driving “issues” so I do hope he takes his own solo driving as seriously. With DriveSmart from T-Mobile I can have added peace of mind. It limits calls, texts, and application use if the phone is in a moving vehicle. Basically the coolest thing EVER!
I have been a HUGE fan of T-Mobile’s Web Guard ever since my kids got their first smartphone a couple of years ago. We, as parents, go through so much trouble protecting our kids from internet dangers on the computer. But, sometimes smartphones and tablets are overlooked. You can actually set child, teen, or young adult settings on their mobile phone. Smartphones have full access to the internet. If you haven’t set up filters… Now is your chance.
Now… It’s time for me to switch back our Family Allowances into school mode. During the summer my kids had full access to text and calls from 6 am to 10 pm. But with school starting we have to limit access during school hours. There is no reason to allow any extra temptation to use the phone. I am a hardcore parent that way. But, because Family Allowance is totally customizable you can have “exceptions”, meaning they can always call or text the numbers that you set up. I LOVE IT! (don’t forget to check out all of the family safety and security features that T-Mobile has to offer)

Android phone’s are soo expensive but, they are powerful. This would be a great phone to start my android adventures.
I just recently became a TMobile customer and love it so far. We now have two lines, and would like to add a third one for a family member. Even thought the monthly fee for the cost of the initial cost of the another phone itself… (over $300) is beyond our budget now. So winning this phone would make the third line addition possible. FamilyWhere will be the first app installed in if I win!
