T-Mobile myTouch Q and myTouch giveaway near bottom of post…
I have been a T-Mobile subscriber for over 3 years now. You already know I love to take pictures with my T-Mobile phone and I adore the parental control options… But did you know that in my time with T-Mobile I have had a Sidekick, jailbroken iPhone, Samsung Galaxy, and now the T-Mobile myTouch Slide 4g? Of all those phones… The myTouch is easily my favorite. The camera is amazing. It is reliable. The 4g speeds are amazing. And the Android interface is extremely easy to use. I will likely never change… I am loyal like that. It is easy to be loyal to a company when you spend hours researching plans and phones to discover what is just right for you. For me, T-Mobile, and now the myTouch is just that.
Now I have a chance to gush about my favorite T-Mobile phones and features at a fab event I am throwing this week. And just in time for the holidays I also have the opportunity to share the T-Mobile myTouch love with 2 of my readers with a truly awesome giveaway. You have the chance to win a myTouch Q:
A few of the features that stand out for me on the myTouch Q are:
- Set-up wizard for email and social networks with have you tweeting and Facebooking your hearts out in a matter of minutes.
- 3.5 inch touch screen
- Qwerty keyboard that slides out for those who prefer the feel of real buttons. (I personally never slide out my keyboard)
- 5-megapixel camera that also shoots 720p HD videos. With built the built in YouTube app and 4g speeds you can share that special video in no time flat.
You also have a chance to win the T-Mobile myTouch: (you aren’t seeing things… I am giving away 2 amazing Android powered phones)
Just a few of the features to love on the myTouch:
- Large 3.8 inch touch screen.
- Swype for easy text input (probably one of my favorite Android features… and makes for some AWESOME auto-corrects)
- Full HTML Web browser
- TeleNav GPS Navigator (for times when your car GPS fails you and you find yourself in New Mexico)
GIVEAWAY Time:
2 lucky people are going to win an Android powered phone from T-Mobile. You are entering to win either an myTouch or myTouch Q from T-Mobile. I will be choosing 2 winners that meet the following entry requirements (and leave a comment they did so):

- Like the T-Mobile Facebook page. http://facebook.com/TMobile
- Answer the following question in the comment section: What is the biggest question you have when it comes to buying a wireless product as a gift?
Easy huh? You can also earn extra entries by doing the following (and leave a separate comment for each entry):

***I am being compensated by T-Mobile for participation in this promotion.

I meet all the requirements, and my question that I have always wondered if they would be able to return it if they don’t like it? Is there some sort of restocking fee, etc?
I am a fan of your neglected Facebook page.
I subscribe to your blog via google reader.
I have followed tmobile on twitter and liked their facebook page. My question is really will they like it and will it meet their needs?
I have the MyTouch Slide 3g and the only reason I’d trade it in would be for the 4g. I luuuurrrrve my phone.
My only hesitation when getting a tech gift for someone comes from how personal tech ends up being. You’re not a fan of your phone’s keyboard, but for me the keyboard is a deal breaker. So, I guess my biggest question would be how to get the person to reveal their big tech wishes without letting on that you’re getting them a present!
(I totally qualify btw! Likes and follows all around!)
I have liked your neglected facebook page.
I am following the Daily Blarg through Google Reader.
Would the features be what the recipient would fully love! I have a geek receiver, it always is the first thing I think of.

Done and done. I have purchased tmobile products as gifts, but it’s so hard to know what the recipient will love because everyone’s taste and requirements are different. Right now my 16yo needs a new phone, but guessing what he’ll love is impossible for me!
I subscribe to your blog.
I’m your BIGGEST Facebook fan!
Followed and liked. As far as buying a wireless product as a gift, my biggest question often is about what’s included–is the 3G/4G service included? Is it extra? Is a data plan needed for every device? Basically, what are my–or the recipient’s–extra expenses going to be?

My biggest question if buying for a gift is can it be returned for a full refund if the recipient doesn’t want this gift?
Thanks so much.
I meet all requirements. I’m scared to buy wireless products as a gift since people have strong personal preferences on such products. So I’d have to ask what the return policy was.
We already have T-Mobile and LOVE them so I already follow them on Twitter (@katjrobertson) and like them on Facebook (Kat Robertson /katjrobertson)…
The biggest question I have when it comes to buying a wireless product as a gift is whether or not it is sensible. There are SO many wireless products out there — they each have their unique set of features and functions… my question is always how much use will it get? Does the total package “fit” the person? Things like that. I love wireless technology — being “unplugged” and able to roam around the house, the city, the WORLD while still staying connected is such an awesome thing… but aside from being neat and convenient, how will the actual features benefit the intended recipient? How are they unique from any other product and what sets it apart?
Ok so that’s several questions but all along the same lines.
haha
Ummm… this is the best I could do at figuring out how to post to my tweet. https://twitter.com/#!/LStook

My biggest question if buying for a gift is can it be returned?
My question would be this:
When I give this phone to my husband to replace his p.o.s. phone (seriously, it’s the kind you buy for your 9-year-old), approximately how long will it take him to customize the phone to his liking? (I’d also ask about warranty information, data plan cost, as well as coverage when traveling.)

my question, as always, is: does it require a contract? i have commitment issues when it comes to things like this. i currently have tmobile and everytime an upgrade comes around, i get excited for a new phone (we have the worst luck with phones) but not the contract. i just hate feeling locked into something i guess. wouldn’t matter anyway since we’ve been with tmobile for 5+ years now and wouldn’t trade for another service!
awesome giveaway!

oh good question! i think it would be can the person who receives it exchange it or return it if they do not like it, even if the box is opened and the item tested.
sometimes you dont know how it will feel (esp with phones) or how the person will get along with it until its been opened. in store displays are awesome but when you are buying it as a gift your feel of the item may not be the same as the person who receives it.
