Happy Fakesgiving

Yesterday was “Fakesgiving” at my house… aka-A pre-Thanksgiving meal because we really love turkey and I wanted to share some of my favorite recipes with you.  Now you can understand why I call it Fakesgiving… Much shorter, sweeter, and just plain awesomer.  This week will be Fakesgiving Week on the blog.  I will share my tips and tricks for being lazy but getting it all done.  Plus sharing a few of my favorite Thanksgiving recipes.  Get ready to be amazed at the deliciousness… and my lack of attire.

A few things that make Fakesgiving nearly as amazing as real Thanksgiving:

  • Clothing optional-Okay you have to be “covered” but yoga pants, your dirty cooking shirt, and no bra is a perfectly acceptable uniform.
  • No football-Ohhh… I may get shot for that one.  But seriously… boo football… BOO!
  • No guests required-Yup… more food for me.  Or you… or whoever makes it.
  • The food-There may be less dishes than on real Thanksgiving but it doesn’t make them any less delicious.

Happy Fakesgiving from me to you!  Check back tomorrow when I share the first of several Thanksgiving recipes in honor of Fakesgiving Week!
